<a href="http://www.coachfederation.org/" title="ICF">International Coach Federation ICF</a> together with <a href="http://www.neca.lt/" title="NECA">North European Coaching Association NECA</a> organizes the <a href="http://ovc.lt/uploads/File/ICF_BALTIJA_KOUCINGO_KARAVANAS.pdf" title="ICF_conference_NECA">Baltic&rsquo;s coaching caravan</a> and invites to participate on the 12 th of November this year in Vilnius, Crowne Plaza. In this conference best Baltic and Western countries&rsquo; coaching professionals will take place.<br />
Participation&nbsp;fee is 180 LTL.

		<description><![CDATA["Mentor" vision is the world full of opportunities for children to develop healthy and youth to be free of addictions.]]></description>

Mentorship is the delinquency and addiction prevention&nbsp;method that is common in most western countries. The aim is to improve young people&#39;s life skills and living standards by communicating with grown-ups individually. The intention is to help youngsters to follow good and positive examples by other people, improve value system and world-view, and discover answers&nbsp;for important life matters. Association <a href="http://www.mentorfoundation.org/about_mentor.php?nav=3-27-76&amp;lang=1">&ldquo;Mentor Lietuva&rdquo;</a> is the national agent of <a href="http://www.mentorfoundation.org/index.php">&ldquo;Mentor Foundation&rdquo;</a> in Lithuania that works for children and youth welfare.
</p>
<p align="justify">
Among other &ldquo;Mentor Lietuva&rdquo; association members (the SEB Group, LAWIN leading law firm in the Baltic, Vičiūnai Group) we also seek to contribute to the prevention. That is why we decided to enter the Association. &ldquo;Doing our professional practice, i.e. <a href="http://ovc.lt/en/ovc-consulting-services.html" title="training_consulting_management">consulting companies in management issues and training them</a>, we have gathered huge experience and competence working with people. We think we should share it in doing a good job &ndash; stimulating and motivating young people to live free and healthy. We want to become mentors and can help to prepare them. 		<description><![CDATA[Yesterday the MERCER Total Remuneration Lithuanian Survey results for Lithuanian companies’ participants were presented. It was noted that Lithuanian companies implement changes carefully.]]></description>

As far back as one year assessing the 2008 <a href="http://www.mercer.com/home.htm">MERCER</a> <a href="http://www.mercer.com/trs">Total Remuneration Survey</a> results we announced that in Lithuania the record salary increase is stated. However in the first half of this year double-digit increase was replaced by targeted double-digit decrease climate.&nbsp; Surveys accomplished by OVC Consulting in January and April of 2009 implied the targeted record salary decrease. But it looks like Lithuanian companies implement changes carefully:&nbsp; the decrease of salaries wasn&rsquo;t as radical as it was expected, yet some organizations that marginally increased their employees&rsquo; salaries do not give any promise to increase salaries considerably even if the economy recovers.

The participants of the event were introduced to several really interesting and valuable presentations: finance management consultant Ausra Meskauskiene reported on performance management indexes&rsquo; importance for personnel managers, she gave useful advices on how personnel specialists might contribute to their [indexes] assessment and management; during the event Edita Znutiene, UAB &ldquo;Svyturys-Utenos alus&rdquo; Human Resource Manager, shared her experience on creating compensation system, Ernestas Letukas, UAB &ldquo;ATEA&rdquo; Personnel Manager, narrated about the advantages and disadvantages of firm&rsquo;s decentralized management while managing human resources within the company.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

			<span style="font-family: Arial; color: #2f4846; font-size: 10pt">Yesterday the association Investors&lsquo; Forum hold a 10 year anniversary event during which an International and Lithuanian investors gathered to the forum with Lithuanian Government &bdquo;Investors&#39; Forum 1999-2009&quot;. Founders of the Forum referred that during the lifetime of Investors&rsquo; Forum not all goals&nbsp;were obtained although investment climate in </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #2f4846; font-size: 10pt">Lithuania</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #2f4846; font-size: 10pt"> is improved. Businessmen didn&rsquo;t pity the Government and criticized huge existing bureaucratic apparatus, though gratified that a constructive dialogue with the Government is maintained. In the Forum investors&rsquo; expectations were referred, discussed the opportunities of direct investments from the foreign countries and challenges, issues that are necessary for increasing business competitive ability within the country.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span>

By welcome talk Investors&lsquo;Forum event was opened by its executive director Rūta Skyrienė, association Chair of the Board Rolandas Valiūnas and Vilnius mayor Vilius Navickas. The executives all over the biggest Lithuanian companies started to plant their trees in Lithuanian Investors Alley while the wind-instruments&lsquo;chords sounded. Together with other members we planted the tree also.&nbsp; &nbsp;

In Lithuanian Investors&#39; Forum alley will grow 34 lindens, that naturalize as Lithuanian business that as it is expected will grow and&nbsp;root into Lithuania.&nbsp;

The aim of this project was using the inner analysis and independent outside information to help the &ldquo;Saulėlydis&rdquo; commission reasonably and competently evaluate the structure and work organization quality in the Ministry and its subordinate institutions and make the valuable decisions of performance efficacy increase. By accomplishing the audit it was sought to evaluate work organization advantages of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions and spheres that need thorough development,&nbsp;also to recommend the Ministry as concerns the development of its organizational structure.</p>

<strong>OVC Consulting</strong> today, October 16-th, released its latest <strong>MERCER Total Remuneration Survey</strong> for Lithuania, a annual market leading compensation trends report.&nbsp;
</p>
<p>
A record in wages&#39; growth was observed in Lithuania over nine months of 2008. In 2008, employers raised wages for their employees about 15% on the average, which makes an increase of 5% over the same period last year, revealed the survey carried out by the management consulting and training company OVC Consulting.
</p>
<p>
According to the results of the survey, only a tenth of all employees did not receive increased wages. The organizers of the survey stated that the growth of wages in Lithuania significantly exceeds the plans and forecasts of companies.
</p>
<p>
According to <a href="http://ovc.lt/en/consultants/akelis-zilvinas.html"><strong>Zilvinas Akelis</strong></a>,&nbsp;senior consultant of OVC Consulting, the heads of companies usually tend to raise wages with regard to individual results of their employees. However, recently a tendency has been observed that employers pay more attention to the norms of general wages system and the situation in the market, which is not affected by employees at all.
</p>
<p>
The survey showed that the highest increase in wages (19%) was registered in Vilnius. Analysts call that a traditional gap of the capital. Despite that, the growth in payment for work did not overtake other Lithuanian cities and towns: in Kaunas and the majority of other towns the payments for work went up 14%, in Klaipeda it stood at 13%.

Ninety-eight Lithuanian companies participated in the survey this year. OVC Consulting collected data about 15,000 employees. We would like to welcome our new team members &#8211; consultant <a href="http://ovc.lt/en/consultants/degutiene-egle.html"><strong>Egle</strong></a> and consultant assistant <a href="http://ovc.lt/en/consultants/kuckailiene-justina.html"><strong>Justina</strong></a>.

<p>
Our current consultant <strong>Ieva </strong>decided to suspend consulting practice for a short time. She is starting her master degree studies on Organizational Behavior and is leaving for Aston Business School (Aston University, UK). We wish her good luck and look forward for her return.</p>

Our previous brand and company name &ldquo;Organizacijų vystymo centras&rdquo; (Center for Organization Development) was not changed since the establishment of the company in 1995 and therefore it did not represent the today&rsquo;s qualitatively changed inside our company.<br />

We are glad to introduce our new brand representing more clearly our activities and values.
