The training is designed for

The programme is designed for organisation owners and managers, division managers, HR managers, project managers and consultants. This programme is particularly suitable for organisations that seek to develop coaching-style communication, competences and culture.

Content of the training

The Workplace Coaching programme consists of 6 modules, and practical coaching of participants and remote supportive meetings are held between the modules. In this manner, a strong individual coaching competence is developed. The training programme concludes with a knowledge test and award of the Erickson Coaching International certificate.

The Workplace Coaching training programme has been accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation), provides 64 ACSTH (ICF approved coach specific training hours), and provides an opportunity to become a member of the ICF.

 

Topic I: basics of coaching. We will study the main concepts and principles of coaching and the structure of coaching conversations and build a solid set of basic coaching tools. The recurring themes of this topics include the question “What do I want to achieve?”, visualisation, inspiring goals, and the principle of focusing on decisions.

YOU WILL LEARN TO:

  1. Help develop a clear vision for your colleagues, customers and employees;
  2. Formulate clear goals that lead you to high-quality performance;
  3. Develop a deep mutual trust with your colleagues and customers;
  4. Ask effective open questions;
  5. Structure your speech in the coaching format;
  6. Use motivation development and strengthening tools;
  7. Provide coaching-style feedback;
  8. Encourage customer and employee self-analysis and progress.

Topic II: search for creative solutions and their implementation. We will study topics such as planning and prioritising, effective time use, and the search for creative solutions.

YOU WILL LEARN TO:

  1. Plan in a high-quality and effective manner while retaining sufficient freedom and flexibility;
  2. Develop creativity strategies to help you successfully implement your plans;
  3. Master the coaching tools required for the implementation of customer and employee plans, time management, and decision-making;
  4. Manage your own and others’ resourceful states.

Topic III: coaching in the team format. In this part, we will learn to apply the principles and tools of coaching in work not only with individual people but also with our team as a whole.

  1. Structure team conversations using the coaching style;
  2. Ensure high participant involvement;
  3. Use available coaching tools to work with your team.
