Emotional health is defined as a condition whereby a person, while experiencing different emotions, essentially feels good, is productive, and is able to enjoy life.

Emotional health affects a person’s thinking, learning, ability to forge and retain satisfying relationships, and personal growth. Good emotional health boosts self-esteem and facilitates independent decision-making and accountability. It can therefore be stated that good emotional health is an important pre-condition for a successful professional and personal life.
