The 360-degree feedback method

This method allows the assessment of a manager's competencies required for successful work in a specific organisation.

This method allows the assessment of a manager’s competencies required for successful work in a specific organisation.

Competences are assessed by the person being evaluated, by their immediate supervisor, colleagues, and team members, who provide comprehensive, detailed feedback on performance in this way. This method is used to assess a manager’s key work behaviours, attitudes, and views, necessary for both the pursuit of organisation’s goals and leadership.

We know that, in order to change and improve, we must clearly understand both our strengths and the areas that need improvement.

Value for the organisation:

  • Obtaining information on targeted and consistent planning of employee development;
  • Provision of a platform for receiving employee opinions, insights, and proposals.

Value for the team:

  • Open sharing of opinions on strengths and areas for improvement in team activities and interpersonal relationships.

Value for the individual:

  • Verification of whether or not the way I see myself at work coincides with how people around see me;
  • Identification of strengths and improvement priorities, and preparation of a development plan.

When we think about the organisation as a whole, about a particular team or about individuals, we encounter different challenges and issues for which  we need different solutions and tools. The selection of such solutions and tools may be associated with numerous questions.

Who is the methodology designed for?
Who completes the questionnaire?
How long does it take?
What are the results like?
How are the results discussed?
What languages can the questionnaire and results be received in?
Is it suitable for new employees?

Important:

  • Involvement of the organisation’s employees in the aseessment and their openness in providing feedback to managers;
  • Assurance of confidentiality;
  • Targeted and consistent actions of the organisation after the received assessment results.
